The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nurse process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department. He/She communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and syptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment. Is knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and hospital Social Worker. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) is professional registered nurse with oncology-specific clinical knowledge who offers individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Using the nursing process, the ONN provides education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality health and psycho-social care throughout all phases of the cancer continuum.
About the Position You will be responsible for planning, managing and evaluating the invasive cardiovascular operations and activities of the assigned hospital/outpatient sites in accordance with the professional standards of the clinical disciplines and applicable regulatory requirements. Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience as a working and licensed Registered Nurse.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN). BSN preferred.
Candidates who do not have a BSN must be enrolled in a Baccalaureate program within 6 months of hire and must complete their BSN within 36 months of hire.
Registration and current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing required.
12 Months of Critical Care experience is REQUIRED.
Requires current basic life support (BLS) certification. Some units may require Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification
Additional certifications may be required for certain practice area.
Willingness to work every other weekend.

Scope: To provide nursing services for basic first aid and basic life support in accordance with the ethical, professional and technical standards set forth by the health care industry. Contracted Nurses will work in our established health care facility and be available to provide health care at localized field trips in and around Sea Girt not to exceed a 5 mile radius
Applicants must have working experience no older than 3 years and possess a proven knowledge of advanced first aid and have an understanding of the physical and emotional health needs of kids ranging from 3rd to 12th grade.
Duties include but are not limited to: communicating health needs of kids to staff and leadership, review of health histories, distribution of family provided prescription and over the counter meds, maintenance of accurate health logs, communicating with parents as needed, able to provide first aid for minor injuries and sickness.
Primary Functions/Duties: -
Provide care to campers and staff in accordance with required treatment Procedures. - Review camper health histories with an emphasis on current illnesses and allergies.
Communicating health needs of students to instructors and administration as needed.
Administration of doctor prescribed and current prescription and over the counter medication.
Providing first aid for minor injuries and illnesses.
Referring more serious issues to the appropriate medical personnel.
Maintaining accurate health logs and incident report logs.
Communicate with parents in regards to health concerns.
Maintain a clean, healthy and warm environment in the infirmary.
Keep clean and prepped sick beds.
Monitor and distribute medications.
Stay up to date on staff personnel medical information and histories.
Box and organize all camper health forms for storage.
