About the Position
You will be responsible for planning, managing and evaluating the invasive cardiovascular operations and activities of the assigned hospital/outpatient sites in accordance with the professional standards of the clinical disciplines and applicable regulatory requirements. You will ensure effective clinical operations by focusing on maximizing utilization of clinical resources, addressing/strengthening patient safety, enhancing relationships with clinical providers, achieving desired clinical outcomes and facilitating achievement of overall financial goals and business/patient satisfaction objectives.

About You

Licenses and certifications - ACLS, ARRT, BLS, RN, WA License

Education – see options below:

·Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or a related field

·Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

·Successful completion of a two-year Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiological Technologist program

·Five years of progressively responsible related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, including two years in a supervisory or management capacity

·Equivalent additional qualifying work experience may be substituted for up to two years of the Bachelor’s degree requirement

About this Position
This position is in a correctional institution. You are so needed because this population in general has not had access to normal, consistent healthcare. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people who sometimes otherwise have little positivity in their lives. You will see and care for a variety of health concerns from minor ailments to major and atypical conditions.
Correctional nurses work along with security officers and a variety of healthcare professionals to provide care to inmate patients to promote and improve their overall health utilizing the nursing process in triage, professional training and various resources in accordance with regulatory agencies and established guidelines. This position will afford you experience like no other.
The Advanced Psychiatric Nurse (APN) specializes in the care of patients with mental disorders, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
