Job Description

Camp Winaukee is seeking registered and student nurses for the 2020 camp season We are a residential boys’ camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough, New Hampshire about 2 hours north of Boston. Winaukee offers 4,5 and 7 week sessions for boys aged 7-15.

Responsibilities and Duties:
·       Camper and (periodic) staff health care (triage, assessment, treatment)
·       Dispensing medication
·       Health related communication/coordination with parents and doctors
·       Medical records management
·       Periodic transportation of campers to MD and ER as needed
·       RN’s must licensed in a compact state and/or NH
·       A flexible, team player with a strong work ethic
·       Warm, nurturing bedside manner
·       Availability: Mid-June through Mid-August
·       New nursing graduates and nurses with families are welcome

Compensation is competitive and dependent upon license, length of stay and if Health Center Staff children are enrolled as campers. All nurses must be licensed in NH or another compact state. We will reimburse you for cost of obtaining a NH State License if you don't already have one.

Benefits include: Housing and meals. Will barter for camper tuition. Nurses typically live in the health center. The living quarters are clean and have wifi and air conditioning.

Salary is competitive and dependent on level of experience
