Job Description
LVN needed on residential campus providing services to children 6-18 as part of a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program. Job duties include interfacing with child psychiatrist and assisting in monitoring medications, side effects, interfacing with pharmacy and overall well being of youth living in residential treatment facility.
Additional duties include training and educating non-medical staff on safe medication procedures per title 22 and being familiar with Title 15 regulations.
Job will be divided between two homes located in Orange and Costa Mesa.
Office hours could range from M-F 9-5 however flexibility exists if you prefer weekend hours along with modified weekday hours.
This position is unique and will be a good fit for someone looking to broaden their knowledge base of youth who have experienced trauma related to child abuse. This position will be the only nurse on campus and allows you an opportunity to develop systems and programming to best support youth in their medical care.
