Job Description
The Cambridge School of Weston seeks a registered nurse who enjoys working with adolescents and their families. He/she will work in a supportive role of our school nurse to primarily support our boarding students. We seek a caring professional who would enjoy working the second shift in a small independent boarding school community.
Specific Responsibilities for This Position Include:
Provide afternoon and nighttime infirmary coverage.
Dispense prescription and over the counter medications to students as needed
Document health center visits through Nurses Office, our electronic student health records system
Communicate with parents and dorm parents about students’ health
Work in collaboration to support our full-time nurse
Keep dorms medical kits supplied with OTC medication and PPE
Available to the administrator on duty during working hours
Serves as liaison and contact with local hospitals and clinics as needed
