Job Description
Primary responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- Performs personal care activities that assist the clients with daily living needs which include; but not limited to; Personal hygiene, assisting with bathroom needs, bathing needs, grooming, oral hygiene, care of skin and hair, range of motion exercises and body rotations.
- Take vital signs and record results
- Prepare accurate time keeping documentation
- Appropriately communicate to ensure the availability of supplies, materials and equipment needed to safely and effectively implement the plan of care.
- Perform any other duties required to help with patient care and the maintenance of a smoothly operating department. i.e. laundry & light housekeeping
- Contribute to the care planning process by providing the Nurse Case Manager with specific information and observations of the clients’ needs and preferences
- Ensure personal goals of the individual are respected
