Job Description
Description:
Provides continuous nursing assessments and care to all surgical patients utilizing the nurse process and AORN standards. Functions competently in both the scrub and circulating nurse roles during surgical procedures. Is a knowledgeable resource for each operative procedure. This position requires providing service to all age populations, neonatal through elderly, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served. This position includes responsibility for participating in the 24 hour/day 7 days/week staffing to cover patients requiring elective, urgent, and emergent surgery
should be trauma certified and have a well rounded experience in the OR scrubbing and circulating role.
Candidates may have to take call!!
Location: Philadelphia Campus/Tabor Road
Hours: Mon-Fri/3pm-11pm13 weeks and 40 hrs/week guaranteed
Requirements:
CNOR Preferred
ACLS
BLS
Active PA License
License Verification
Years of experience: 3 years of heavy OR experience
