The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing full Private Duty Nursing care to an adult Medically Fragile, Special Needs, Immunocompromised patient with Developmental Disabilities while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians and other medical professional teams. 
This position could become a self-educational opportunity for the candidate who would be inspired by and willing to research complicated, rare and atypical medical conditions.
Private Duty Nursing responsibilities: 
  • Daily environmental infection control and management for immunocompromised patient, medication management, ADL's, personal care, dietary/meal management, homemaker/companion.
  • Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians/medical team and report communicate to medical team.
  • Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
  • Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current NM licensure
  • CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
  • Applicant will provide documentation of hospital level vaccinations and immunizations.
  • Applicant will provide fingerprinting/background check
  • Applicant will provide 3 references
  • Regular Covid testing
  • Maintain a safe Covid environment
