Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology Clinic, Wilford Hall, Lackland AFB!
MedTrust Staffing has an exciting, full time opportunity for a CIVILIAN Nurse Practitioner in the Outpatient Cardiology Clinic located in the brand new Wilford Hall Ambulatory Center on Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX!
Willford Hall is stunning to look at, visit and, best of all, work in! This 682,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility houses more than 25 speacialty clinics, including the Cardiology Clinic, where you'll be working. It has 4 floors, 4 wings, a parking garage as well as it's own central energy plant!
The Cardiology Clinic provides services to include clinical consultation (routine and urgent), full treadmill capability; echocardiography (to include transesophageal echos, stress and viability studies), the largest Coumadin clinic in the Department of Defense, tilt-table testing, full electrophysiology services with a pacemaker and implantable defibrillator clinic, congestive heart failure clinic, and cardiac rehabilitation services.
Position Details:
- Assigned panel of Military Insured patients
- Work with 3 other Cardiology Specialty Providers
- Professional, collegiate teaching environment
Typical Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours / week
- No federal holidays or on-call requirements
- Normal work hours are scheduled between 6:30 AM and 5 PM
- Clinic is only open from 7 AM to 4:30 PM
- Monday - Friday only
- Closed weekends and Federal Holidays
