UVP, is a physician-owned practice management company with a clear vision: to build the leading, nationally recognized integrated eye care community in the country. I love working here because We are guided by five core values: People-Centric, Partnership, Stewardship, Continuous Improvement, and Fulfillment. In other words, we believe that everyone in our community matters, that we’re stronger when we work collaboratively together, that we have a responsibility to be great stewards of our affiliated practices’ legacies, that we must always challenge ourselves to be better, and that we’re contributing to something larger than ourselves.

When we started our journey in 2017, we intentionally stated that our goal was to build the best eye care management company, not the largest. To be the best, you must partner with the best practices, and support them in their quest to improve the quality of their patients’ lives. That discipline has served us well.

I am very proud of the partnerships we have established to date in our Minnesota and Southern California markets, with Minnesota Eye Consultants and Northwest Eye in the Twin Cities region, and Pacific Eye Institute and Inland Eye Institute in the Inland Empire region. Working together, we have established ourselves as the eye care provider of choice in both regions and are excited to work with the Eye Care of La Jolla team to expand our footprint in Southern California and the greater San Diego market.

Full Time Outpatient Registered Nurse with Stock Options ,
10-09-2021
We are an outpatient practice focusing on prostate cancer and BPH, particularly MRI guided prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment using a minimally invasive laser system. I am an interventional radiologist, and we are disrupting this field of urology.

Imagine if a family member needed a breast cancer screening and the doctor said, "Allow me to take 12 random samples of each breast, and if there is cancer, hopefully we'll hit it." Believe it or not, that is still the standard of care for prostate cancer (with a 30-40% miss rate depending on the study).

More specifically about the position, it is a full time salaried position. Health insurance and stock options are some of the benefits.  We are concierge, so a lot more time spent per patient. Low volume, high margin. We would workup patients, perform procedural sedation, help manage issues as they come up.

I started my private practice in 2016, and it has been successful. I sold it to Halo Diagnostics in 2020, and we are trying to grow the practice to have a great impact on many men. Halo Diagnostics is building out a tech platform, and they have a very interesting strategy to bring medical tech products to market.  Please contact us to learn more and possibly come in for an interview.
