Position Description: Works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a psychiatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment.Provides primary care to psychiatry and at-risk patients.
Educational Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner-Psychiatric requires a master’s degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in specialty area based on RN licensure and state authority for advanced practice. Must have experience as a NP in a psychiatric setting

Lifeways is currently seeking a full-time and PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to potentially start training on September 30, 2019. Key Responsibilities:
Attends mandatory trainings to comply with Company, State and Federal regulatory requirements.
Assist with the patient’s activities of daily living (ADLs). This includes assisting with meal preparation, delivering of meals and clean up to support staff; ADLs include daily hygiene including showers and management of daily groups and activities.
Assist with facility cleanup to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.
Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by Federal, State, and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission Standards.

The ERU provides overnight care for patients recovering from outpatient surgery and certain GI or Interventional Radiology procedures. The majority of surgical patients cared for are those recovering from Eye, Oral, ENT, Orthopedic, Plastic, Urology, GYN, and General Surgery.
There are a total of 14 beds designated for Extended Recovery Unit patients:
•8 beds in the ERU •6 beds on 4P
The patients staying in ERU beds receive quality care throughout their stay and are typically ready for discharge by 10:00 am the morning following their surgery or procedure.
