About the Open Positions
We have immediate openings for registered nurses in Clinical Evaluation and Intermediate Care

Clinical Evaluation Unit
  • 30 bed observation unit; Patient to nurse ratio is 4:1
  • Unit specializes in a wide variety of patient diagnoses including, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, endocrine, renal as well as the care of patients post operatively and post procedure.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in either critical care or intermediate care is strongly preferred.
Intermediate Care Unit
  • 28 bed observation unit; Patient to nurse ration is 3:1 or 4:1
  • Patient population both Stepdown and Intermediate level care
  • Unit specializes in a wide variety of patient diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, GI, renal, Endocrine, and Neurological.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in medical surgical and telemetry is required.

My brother (52) goes in for surgery 5:30 a.m on March 30. He's having hernia surgery and prostate removal. (He may need someone to drop him off and check him in). He'll need help changing bandages, perhaps catheter changing, and he'll be on pain medication. He'll also need help getting around the house, need meals prepared, errands like grocery store shopping. He has two cats that will need to be fed. He has a separate bedroom for caretaker to stay. For the first few days (5?) he will be round the clock care and then check-ins afterward.

  • Follow up on patients care and staff
  • In charge of admissions, resumption of care and recertifications

2 day general orientation. First day is general client information, second day is clinical. The 3rd day they attend department specific orientation, and then work with a preceptor for a week on the unit.

Level 1 Trauma Center, Joint Commission certified Hips and Knees, OBGYN Residency program with 2 robots in service, growing endovascular program and orhtopedic trauma service line.'
