CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB CONDITIONS

  • Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
  • It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts.
  • It is primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing stooping and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
  • Travel is required, by car to meet with patients within the Agency’s service area.

Our toddler was in the PICU for almost 200 days. He has a debilitating rare genetic disease, has a G-tube, needs major respiratory care/suctioning, and is on a great deal of meds for Epilepsy. 
*Nurse MUST be an RN & have experience w/ the above. ER &/or PICU experience preferred. 
*Nurse must be able to get up/down off the floor, no exceptions. We have a play mat, bed, & equipment all on floor.
*He is very low tone, weighs 30 lb so Nurse must be able to lift him easily as well.

Work closely with the NIE Program Director to plan and carry out activities, especially related to conferences and events, communication, marketing, and website updates. Serve as a member of a team-oriented staff providing optimal service to NIE Program vendors and consumers as well as other Northeastern University departments. Pali Overnight Adventures is a distinguished co-ed residential camp located within the scenic San Bernardino National Forest. 

Every week Pali creates a summer of a lifetime for up to 450 campers from all over the world, ages 8-16.

We offer specialty programs ranging from Water Sports, Flying Trapeze, and Film Making, to Music, Fashion Design, and Culinary Arts- just to name a few! Additionally, campers choose from 50+ activities everyday for their afternoon electives. Activities include everything from paintball to pedicures. 

Pali Adventures' Wellness Center is staffed by 3-5 full-time RNs throughout the summer season. Onsite nurses report directly to the camp directors and are considered upper administrative staff.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Promotes, implements, and upholds professional standards of school nursing practice and follows state and local health practice statutes, district policies, and administrative guidelines.
