Family practice physician who will also provide ER and inpatient coverage. This is a Rural Health Clinic and 33-bed Critical Access Hospital with avg 10-15 clinic patients/provider/day, avg daily inpatient census of 0.5, avg monthly ER visits of 40, long term care census of 21, skilled swing bed census of 1. Because of our rural nature, we need a family practice doctor who will work in all these areas. Patient volumes don’t justify having just an exclusive ER provider or a hospitalist. We don’t do surgery or OB. We have a full-service lab with some bacteriology and blood banking, basic x-ray, and physical/occupational/speech therapy. Culbertson is a town of ~1000 people located at the intersections of US hwy 2 and MT hwy 16 in the NE corner of MT. We are 1 mile north of the Missouri River, 90 miles downstream from FT Peck Reservoir. Farming, ranching, and oil are the primary industries for the area.A full-time provider works 4 days a week in the clinic 0800-1700, 1-2 week nights (Mon-Thurs) on call (don’t have to be in the building but able to be onsite within 30 minutes), and 1:3 weekend call coverage. PTO accumulates based on hours worked to about 20 days per year. RMC pays portion of employee health insurance premium and employee can purchase family coverage. RMC provides $5000 life insurance policy and employee can purchase additional coverage at reasonable rates. $4000/yr for CME which doesn’t have to be used for required certifications like ACLS, TNCC, ABLS, etc. 1:3 call is part of regular contract but if provider works more than that, there is additional compensation. | |||

We are a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic that offer long term care, inpatient, skilled swing bed, outpatient, and ER services. We don’t do surgery or OB. We are a state-designated trauma receiving facility so we pay for RNs to maintain ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
