We offer 24/7 skilled nursing care, including out-patient services that includes physical therapy and occupational therapy and our staff is consistent, compassionate, caring and knowledgeable.

REGISTERED NURSE/LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

The RN/LPN must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and maintain current license with the SC State Board of Nursing. He/She must be in good physical and mental condition, demonstrate leadership ability, and be able to work with all levels of personnel.

• Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ care
• Effectively advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we serve
• Foster a learning environment for patient/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team
• Be accountable for safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence, and best practice into nursing care
• Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates and disseminates research and evidence based practice
• Lead and coordinate teams, appropriately delegate, coordinate care and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team to integrate nursing knowledge

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Research Nurse evaluates, coordinates, and manages clinical trials and subjects who participate in research protocols and with collaborative coordinating research centers. The Clinical Research Nurse coordinates study activities with the Primary Investigator and any Sub-Investigators of clinical studies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Recruit, interview and obtain informed consent from prospective subjects for entrance into clinical trials and studies.
• Coordinator appropriate laboratory tests and other procedures for subjects participating in studies; including drawing blood or collection of other samples.
• Coordinate with Investigational Pharmacy for subjects to receive required drugs.
• Communicate with Sponsored Programs Administration to ensure proper management of charges and billing.

• Coordinate and submit IRB protocols, reports, revisions, updates, approvals.
• Record appropriate clinical and laboratory data on forms provided by the principal investigator(s), federal government, and/or industry sponsors.

• Communicate with study sponsors, federal agencies, principal investigators, and sub-investigators about research projects.

• Provide resources for staff, patients, families. and community regarding research.

• Travel to clinical research sites, hospitals, physician offices, and facilities with a large Health Care System as necessary.

• Perform other duties as assigned within department.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO SUCCEED:

• NC RN licensure required. BSN preferred. Clinical research experience required. BLS HCP certification from AHA required. BLS HCP certification from AHA required. Certification in clinical research (SoCRA, ACRP) preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

• Requires ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Reaching, stooping, bending in file drawers. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 30 lbs. of weight. Working in fast- paced clinical setting. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch and manual and finger dexterity. Must be able to be mobile within the entire healthcare system and other facilities as required.

Home Care Agency seeking Registered Nurse Supervisor.

Duties will include:

- Performing admission assessment.

- Participating in the development and implementation of the client's service plan.

- Reviewing and revising the service plan to meet the client's needs, and to ensure quality and safe delivery of home care services.

- Evaluating interventions relative to the achievement of outcomes.

- Reporting problems and progress of the client's to supervisory personnel and the client's primary physician.

LVN needed on residential campus providing services to children 6-18 as part of a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program. Job duties include interfacing with child psychiatrist and assisting in monitoring medications, side effects, interfacing with pharmacy and overall well being of youth living in residential treatment facility.

Additional duties include training and educating non-medical staff on safe medication procedures per title 22 and being familiar with Title 15 regulations.

Job will be divided between two homes located in Orange and Costa Mesa.

Office hours could range from M-F 9-5 however flexibility exists if you prefer weekend hours along with modified weekday hours.

This position is unique and will be a good fit for someone looking to broaden their knowledge base of youth who have experienced trauma related to child abuse. This position will be the only nurse on campus and allows you an opportunity to develop systems and programming to best support youth in their medical care.
