Experience with Prone protocols and Roto Prone beds along with EEG. On call every 3rd weekend, 16 hour of on call per 4 weeks schedule. 8 of those must be on a weekend. |

The REGISTERED NURSE (RN) is a highly qualified healthcare provider who through education and experience possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills relative to the various age populations and applies the art and science of his/her profession. He/she applies nursing knowledge in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient response to actual or potential health problems. He/she initiates nursing care, health teachings, and health counseling that support life and restore well‐being and functions. He/she must possess accordance with the nurse practice act and under the direction and supervision of the appropriate client representative.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Licensure: Current State License as a Registered Nurse. Experience: One year experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting or expertise (Client facility may waive the one‐year requirement). Skills:
Nursing skills as defined by generally accepted nursing standards. Requires interpersonal skills. Possess flexibility and the ability to fit in as a team member. Credentials: Current CPR (or specialty as ACLS, PALS, etc.) Current TB screening Statement of good health Other screening as required by specific facilities Transportation:
Reliable transportation and valid insurance coverage. Environmental/ working conditions: Works in various client settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious disease. The ability to work flexible schedules to meet client’s needs.
Physical/ mental effort:
Requires prolonged standing, walking and the ability to lift an adult patient. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient’s needs. Ability to make quick decisions to meet each patient’s individualized psychosocial needs. Additional Qualifications:

Provides mentoring and coaching to subordinate nursing staff on therapeutic interventions, recover principles, and de-escalation techniques for aggressive behaviors. |
