Responsibilities: 

• Provide personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by assisting with their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and feeding them if necessary
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in a patient’s behavior, emotional state or physical condition
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean, tidy and safe environment by reporting environmental deficiencies including equipment or lighting problems to the charge nurse

Plans develop and implement procedures and policies that enhance the quality of life for people receiving services and assure procedures that support people managing their health care.

Provides leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and nursing practice standards.

Develops and implements healthcare-related training that assures the best possible delivery of health-related supports and services. Reviews training at least quarterly and makes modifications as needed.

Manages and supervises in-services training for non-skilled staff.

Develops and maintains documentation system for continuity of care and record storage that assures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and ESAH policies and procedures.  

Maintains performance improvement activities to meet Company, state, federal standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include the (1) Back Office: The candidate will room patients with gentile care sensitive to the needs of children of all ages and developmental levels. They will be able to triage children and adolescent patients. They will be proficient in taking vitals (height, weight, temp, BP, and O2 sats), taking basic histories, giving vaccinations and injections, and be able to perform phlebotomy, spirometry, vision and hearing tests as well as processing lab tests (training is available if not experienced). Working with and under the direction of providers, the candidate will help to call back patients/ parents with answers to questions and lab results. The candidate will be available to back up the (2) Front Office, helping out when needed to greet and process patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, deductibles, scan forms, verify insurance benefits, and provide general support for the front office.
