First Choice Neurology is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, personable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join one of our premiere Neurology offices located in Coral Gables, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing new and existing patient load in the hospital setting. Duties mainly include initial and follow up exams and consults, carrying out the physician's plan of care, and communicating with referring physicians as well as patient families.

Schedule:

Three weekdays + weekend coverage and some evenings "on-call" will be required.

Setting:

The NP/PA position is necessary in the inpatient setting full time. However, candidate can work outpatient clinic as well, if interested.

Qualifications:

• Master or Doctorate Degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Adult or Family)
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification-Adult-Gerontology (ACNPC-AG) (MUST HAVE)

• Current APRN/PA License in Florida.

• Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
